It is here in Kindergarten, where we lay the foundation for our children’s education. What young children learn this year will have an enormous impact on successful learning experiences in school and in future success in both life and society. Children come into Kindergarten beginning to learn how to read, write, add and subtract, while at the same time, developing important social and life skills. This is a time when children begin to develop the ability to relate to others, verbal skills, early literacy and most importantly, the desire to learn. We, at Ojus Elementary must cooperate as parents, teachers and the community to make sure that every effort is made to allow our Kindergarten students to increase their potential for learning, and to make the most of learning opportunities.
