School-wide awards have a distinctive significance. Therefore, the following guidelines and limits have been established for the annual awards as follows: |
Annual
Principal's Honor Roll
*Annual Certificate
For those students who met the criteria for the
Quarterly Principal's Honor Roll all four grading
periods.
Annual
Academic Honor Roll
*Annual Certificate
For those students who were either on the Quarterly
Principal's Honor Roll or the Quarterly Superstars
Honor Roll
( a combination of both) all four grading
periods.
Annual
Superstars Honor Roll
*Annual Certificate
For those students who were on the Quarterly
Superstars Honor Roll all four grading
periods.
Annual
Citizenship Honor Roll
*Annual Certificate
For those students who met the Quarterly
Citizenship Honor Roll criteria requirements for
all four
grading periods.

Excellent Attendance Honor
Roll
*Annual Certificate
For those students who met the Quarterly Excellent
Attendance requirements all four grading
periods.

Spanish Awards

For those outstanding students enrolled in the
Spanish Program.

For those students who have improved in an academic
area.

For those students who read books within the
following ranges:

Superior, Excellent categories.
Theodore
Gibson Oratorical Contest
*Trophy (First Place
winner)

For those students in grades 3 through 5 who
participated in the oratorical contest at
the school level.

For those students who won as grade level
champions.

the school's Safety Patrol.
Presidential
Physical Fitness Award
*Certificate Cards
Students in grades 4 through 5 who score within an
established range of points will receive either a
gold, blue or red certificate card. The top scorer
in the boy's and girl's categories will each
receive a trophy.

For an outstanding student enrolled in the ESOL
Program.
Art/Music/Physical
Education
*Annual Certificate
For those outstanding students in grades 2 through
6 who participated in the school's fine arts
programs.
